major, minor and queen described (see Bolton, 1995) .

Note: hoggarensis (Camponotus (Myrmoturba) seurati var hoggarensis, Santschi, 1929c: 104, illustrated, minor & major; HNS copy incomplete) from Algeria - see http://www.antweb.org/specimenImages.do?code=casent0911896 quite clearly is not related to alii. The head and alitrunk profile differ and it appears to be dark brown near black.
