The photomontage of a major worker, listed by Forel (1904b) but possibly differing from the type "Persian (Persane)" form, which he gave as having the alitrunk and even the anterior gaster entirely black, is collated from http://www.antweb.org/specimen.do?name=casent0905292. The head proportions of the Nafisi major worker almost exactly matches the Menozzi head but both have a lower CI (proportionally wider head) than the Antweb major.
