Ulianini n. var., Emery, 1889a: 441, worker; Karavaiev, 1910b: 57, queen; raised to species by Agosti & Collingwood, 1987a: 56, but synonymised with elegans by Dlussky, Soyunov & Zabelin, 1990: 194; re-elevated to species by Seifert, 2003: 225) Turkestan, Fedtschenko.

The dorsal view clearly is of a different specimen and the Seifert label bears no obvious relation to either.
