The
photomontage of a type worker, TL ca 6 mm, is collated from http://www.antweb.org/specimen.do?name=casent0102117.
Possibly a media worker, André gave TL range 4-6 mm, but the head shape
is not that of a characteristic Cataglyphis
major. Emery noted the persicus
major was TL 7.3 mm.
|
The
photomontage of a minor worker from the persicus type collection, is
collated from http://www.antweb.org/specimen.do?name=0102118
(colour correct by me). Matches the minor head in Emery's drawing.
