WORKER - TL 4.5-5.1 mm; characteristics as in key (Bolton, 1974a, not illustrated).

Bequaert (1922: 370) wrote of it as nesting in empty lepidopterous galls on a tree at Kabanza, near Kikondja, Zaïre.
