WORKER - TL 3.1 mm, HL 0.82, HW 0.80, SL 0.44, PW 0.50; diagnostic features as in key (Bolton, 1974a: 35, not illustrated).

Noted by Bequaert (1922: 490) as one of the ants he collected, with larvae and pupae, from domatia of a Cuviera species (not necessarily Cuviera angolensis).
