Cerapachys decorsei (Santschi)

return to key {link to the Hymenoptera Name Server} Type locality Chad (Lioponera Decorsei n. sp., Santschi, 1912b: 150, male - no images on Antweb (October 2014; number given but no photographs); combination in Cerapachys, Brown, 1975: 22), male only described (see Bolton, 1995). Santschi gave the location as "Darbanda méridional (Kébédjé, Mission Charri Tchad)", collected by Dr Decorse; but the locality cited by Wheeler (1922) is Krebedje, southern Dabanda, "French Congo" (5°55'N, 19°E), in the present Central African Republic .
