{Crematogaster flavida}The photomontage is of a worker from Tanzania, Mkomazi Game Reserve; collector G McGavin (Tree 5-55-04).

The overall morphology, size, colour, scape length, small subpetiolar tooth, etc., appear a good match to the type description from a single worker from Zanzibar, geographically close to Mkomazi, albeit off-shore.  The Mayr (1907b) flavida is from almost the same location as Mkomazi and the specimens also came from a Vachellia (the African shrub acacia) (previously posted by me as solenopsides).
