{Crematogaster gratiosa}The photomontage is of a worker from Gabon, Pongara National Park; collector Yves Braet (Gabon 107).

This and the one below show the characteristics described by Santschi, including - the rectangular head, the pronotum is bordered but the borders are not raised; the recurved propodeal spines; the petiole quite short probably near square. Comparison with the type worker appears not to be so close. The size is the same, as is the colour pattern on the gaster. The magenta tint prevailing on many Antweb images may distort the original; Santschi had red-brown or chestnut.
