Worker described (see Bolton, 1995) .


Forel's (1916) description is at {original description}. Bequaert (in Wheeler, 1922, p 407) cited it as collected by Father Kohl from in myrmecophilous plants.

Separable from Crematogaster nigeriensis by the large subpetiolar spine, erect hairs on the pronotum and longitudinal striation on the dorsum and sides of the propodeum.
