Dorylus (Anomma) niarembensis (Boven)
Type locality Zaïre (Anomma
niarembense, Boven, 1972: 143 but only in key, illustrated); queen

Forel's (1912) description of a "Dorylus nigricans"
queen, from Entebbe, Uganda, and collected by Vice-Consul
Heinr. Schulze, in association with larvae, pupae and workers,
is on
Boven himself added confusion as, although he refers to the Forel
paper, he seems to have overlooked the collection details.
The Forel illustration differs considerably from the "nigricans"
queen as illustrated by Emery (1910) - see Dorylus nigricans
page.
