- Menozzi (1929e: 125) reported a few workers, collected in
Sinai, at Wadi Feran, by F S Bodenheimer. The fresh workers shown below
are an exact match for the type worker and, so, confirm the presence of
the species in Egypt. Andre (1881b) listed findings from Israel, at
Jaffa and Jerusalem, |

Egypt Records - Menozzi (1929e: 125) reported a few workers, collected in Sinai, at Wadi Feran, by F S Bodenheimer. The worker photographed by Mostafa Sharaf seems to match the limited descriptions, notably the alitrunk profile and deep metanotal groove. |
