Collected at St. Gabriel, by Kohl. Bequaert (1922, p 407) cited it as collected by Father Kohl from in myrmecophilous plants.

WORKER - TL 2.5-2.9 mm; distinguished by a lack of hairs on the propodeum and first gastral tergite; colour yellow (Bolton, 1982: 328, illustrated alitrunk and pedicel profile).

Material from CRIG, Ghana, collected and reported by Bolton (1982); but without any bionomic information.
