WORKER - SL >0.72 mm; tibiae and protrochanter same dark brown as alitrunk (stated as having a brilliant blueish-purple irridescence to the cuticle), meso/metatrochanters may be lighter; mandibles and antennae typically same brown as head
TL 1.41-2.6 mm, HL 0.54-0.64, HW 0.48-0.50, CI 76-86, SL 0.73-0.83, SI 157-172 (see key page for reference link)

All specimens examined were from 3 collections at the same location in Gabon, except one set from Uganda, Ruwenzori Expedition, 10 m. ENE of Bundibugyo, 26.viii.1952, G. O. Evans.

Note: The described colour is more accurately depicted in the collation of fresh specimens from Congo that I show below.
