The rates of germination and the early production of leaves from the trial at Kibeta are given in Table 4 and subsequent data on plant vigour are given in Table 5.
The rates of germination and the early production of leaves from the trial at Nyakato are given in Table 6 and subsequent data on plant vigour are given in Table 7.
Tables 5 and 7 also show the results of ANOVAs between the means of the ten treatments for each group of data and related Duncan's Multiple Range Tests. The coefficients of variation for each group of data show plant height and girth to be quite consistent (CV 10%-12%) within treatments, specially with increasing maturity of the plants. The number of suckers produced per stool were more variable.
