Deepwater Rice - the Daudkandi site - Comilla District, Bangladesh |
Situated in the Meghna floodplain, slightly east of the Daudkandi town and not far past the river crossing. As with other Meghna floodplain sites, the flood water does not carry any great quantity of silt. Factorial and varietal trials were planted in 1982.
