The apparently identical type major of rubricalva can be seen at http://www.antweb.org/specimen.do?name=casent0907807. The type major of kasaiensis shown at http://www.antweb.org/specimen.do?name=casent0907809 appears from the lack of pigmentation likely to be a callow or newly emerged ant.
