Colour red-brown, gaster darker, appendages lighter. Alitrunk spiculate except for posterior dorsal and lateral areas of the pronotum. Erect hairs relatively long and moderately abundant. Clypeal margin medially concave. Propodeal spines short and acute.

Others collected were Cameroon 10 from location IPE, 24.iii.2001, in leaf-pouch domatia of Delpydora sp. and Cameroon 80 from location BOU, 18.iv.2001, nest in a hollow and rotten branch (1.5 m above ground), in the edge vegetation.

Despite the "Type" label this is almost certainly nothing to do with Fabricius.
