             The
photomontage is of a worker from Tanzania,
Mkomazi Game Reserve, collector G McGavin (Tree 2-34). 
             
            Formerly thought by me to be Tapinoma
luteum but fresh specimens (of luteum) show I was in error and demissum
is a more likely match. The Antweb images (accessed March 2013) confirm
this.

             The
photomontage is of a worker from Senegal,
Thiés, collector Lamine Diamé (32). Slightly smaller than the type but
sharing the same form and colour.
