Tetramorium luteipes Santschi

return to group key {link to the Hymenoptera Name Server} Type location Congo (Tetramorium Grassii Em. stirps luteipes, nov., Santschi, 1910c: 383, illustrated, all forms; raised to species by Santschi, 1914e: 24). Collected at Brazzaville, by A. Weiss. Known only from the holotype and 2 paratype workers from the one location .

WORKER - TL 2.8-3.1 mm; anterior clypeal margin with a small notch; petiole node angular anteriorly and dorsally with a narrow rim along front and sides; postpetiole unsculptured; colour light yellowish brown; in the camerunense-complex (Bolton, 1980: 341, not illustrated).
