Tetramorium unicum Bolton

return to group key {link to the Hymenoptera Name Server} Type location Zaïre (Bolton, 1980: 366, not illustrated, worker), collected at Masaki, near Masisi, in Cuviera ?angolensis, possibly by J. Bequaert. Considered by Bolton to possibly (probably) be the species referred to by Wheeler (1922) as Tetramorium meressei, as the information fits with the label but the specimen is clearly separable to this new species .

Bolton's description (1980) is at {original description}.
