Santschi (1924d) recorded further specimens from Congo (Belgian) at Kambove, xi.1918 (Dr Gerard), 2 males; and Lusindoi, 27.viii.1911 (L. Burgeon).

Aenictogiton species undetermined ? emeryi

Clearly differing from fossiceps in head profile and petiole shape in dorsal view. The Santschi key leads one to elongatus but the Forel description and comparision with the type images shows it almost certainly is emeryi

Collection details (label) - Zambia (N. Rhodesia); 35 mi SE of Tunduma; 00°00'00"N 000°00'00"E 1400m. Collection codes: ANTC1250 Date: 19 Feb 1958 Collected by: E. S. Ross and R. E. Leech. The location seems likely to be about 09°42'S 33°05'E, which is actually on the Tanzanian side of the Tanzania-Zambia border.
