junior synonym cameroni (Anochetus Cameroni n. sp., Forel, 1915c: 352, worker; synonymy by Brown, 1964d: 215) from Brazil.
worker only described (see Bolton, 1995). Note - why Bolton, 1995: 64, has the type location as "Morocco" is unclear, Spinola, 1853: 71, gave it as from Andalusie, Spain, 1842; which is as given by Mayr (1861: 53). Smith (1858b: 79) who had "Hab. Brazil (Para)", presumably because the title of the Spinola paper (1853 but seemingly identical to his 1851b paper) concerned collections by M Ghiliani in Para .
