Collected in Kenya, Kakamega District, Isecheno, by R R Snelling; on tree trunk, 19.iii.2003; holotype worker & numerous other workers.

Other collections made at Kakamega. Also a single worker from Gabon, Oogué-Maritime, by S van Noort, 7.iii.2000, on vegetation in lowland rain forest.
