Santschi's (1926b) description is at . Comparison with Camponotus olivieri but with
less pubescence on the gaster. Now, September 2014, the type
images show this to be apparently identical to Camponotus
atriscapus.
The prior publication
date of tilhoi, 1.iv.1926, versus atriscapus,
(31).vii.1926,
would make this the senior synonym.
