Weber's (1949a) description
is at .
Brown (1975: 24) listed this as the only African form
with 11-segmented antennae, as stated by Weber (1949a) but Weber's own
(1942a) description of Cerapachys
sudanensis appears to suggest that also has 11-segmented
antennae. Specimens of sudanensis I have seen show this quite
clearly
Described as widespread in Ghana, by Belshaw
& Bolton (1994b) from leaf litter samples, 299 workers, and soil
samples, 134 workers, from the semi-deciduous forest zone.
