The form described as staitchi (Cremastogaster
foraminiceps Sant. r. Staitchi
n. stirps, Forel, 1915c: 339, worker & queen) from Zaïre,
collected
at Lumaliza, by Kohl is very different, being near black in colour that
I have separated it as a distinct species - Crematogaster (Cr.) staitchi

Santschi's (1913a: 412) features listed in the key were -
TL 3.4-4.3; head entirely sculptured,
with irregular striations and large punctures between especially
towards the occiput; promesonotum feebly concave, with rugose
sculpture; yellowish brown, antennae yellow; subalpine species from
1700 m.
