Iran list Type location Uzbekistan (Acantholepis frauenfeldi spinisquama nov. subsp. Kuznetsov-Ugamsky, 1929c: 480, illustrated, worker; raised to species by Pisarski, 1967: 401, as Acantholepis spinnisquama, Aghanistan finding; most recent useage Lepisiota spinisquama by Collingwood & Agosti, 1996: 369) collected at Kelta-Maschat, western Tian-Schan, 750 m asl (seemingly near Andizhan).
