Type location Cameroun (Bolton, 1975a: 283, illustrated head only, worker); from Ototomo, collection by G. Terron, 20.v.1968; holotype worker only known - see below .

WORKER - TL 5.2 mm; distinguished by the long, narrow head and circumocular grooves, and long narrow petiole. Colour medium brown, gaster lighter, appendages a dark yellow-brown.
