WORKER
- medium sized, TL 8.0-8.4 mm; mandibles
massively developed, very broad. Propodeal dorsum with a broad,
transverse impression anteriorly and a longitudinal groove which is
most distinct posteriorly. Antennal scapes very long. Colour black,
appendages brown (Bolton, 1975a: 276, illustrated).
