TL ca 3.7 mm; HL 0.72 HW 0.6, SL 0.67 EL 0.11, PW 0.44; CI 85, SI 114.

Keys to Leptogenys elegans but that has TL 4.50-4.90 mm, HL 0.96-1.02, HW 0.68-0.72, SL 0.89-0.94, PW 0.58-0.62; and is black, extremities yellow-brown, shiny. The dense covering of semi-decumbent pilosity, specially on the scapes, plus the general shape has similarities with Leptogenys occidentalis. That, however, is larger, TL 4.5-4.6 mm, and near black, with a relatively thick alitrunk when viewed from above.
