Type location Cameroun (Bolton, 1975a: 263, not illustrated, worker); holotype worker from Mt. Nkolodon, 900-1000m (19.v.1969, G. Terron), no collection details (Bolton, 1975a) .

WORKER - large, TL 9.0 mm; head and dorsal alitrunk sculptured. Antennal scapes relatively long. Colour a very deep brown, almost black, the gaster lighter brown, the appendages mid-brown and shining .
