TL ca 2.7 mm, HL 0.60, HW 0.55, SL 0.61, PW 0.38, CI 91, SI 110; head sub-square with sides weakly convex and occiput a slightly flattened dome, eyes in side view with adownward extended apex; promesonotum shallowly convex, with a low welt, propodeum shallowly convex in lateral view, lacking spines.

The minor of gwaaiensis seems identical other than being slightly smaller.

TL ca 2.7 mm, HL 0.63, HW 0.58, SL 0.63, PW 0.42, CI 95, SI 109; head sub-square with sides weakly convex and occiput a slightly flattened dome, eyes in side view normal ovoid; promesonotum convex, with a distinct welt, propodeum shallowly convex in lateral view, lspines moderate narrow triangles; postpetiole from above a small triangle. Compares with rohani in form but some 20% smaller.

Matching the type form minor.


{Pheidole schultzei ebangana minor}Santschi's (1937d) description of ebangana is at {original description}. The specimens shown below appear to be ebangana minors (note - ii.2009, I previously thought these might be saxicola. They have the darker colour and slightly longer propodeal spines described by Santschi.
