{plectroctena latinodis worker}WORKER - Large, TL 15.6 mm; similar to minor but petiole relatively higher, and considerably broader. Transverse groove on first gastral tergite developed only in the middle of the sclerite and situated at the extreme anterior margin. Colour not given (Bolton, 1974b: 323, not illustrated).

Also known from Cameroun, at Mundame (L. Conradt, Emery, 1899e) (Bolton, 1974b).
