WORKER - TL 6.4-7.5 mm, HL 1.77-1.85, HW 1.59-1.67, SL
1.75-1.88, PW 1.33-1.41
Transverse ridge on propodeum raised medially into a small tooth or
tubercle; propodeal spines directed upwards and upcurved. Colour black,
appendages brown and funiculi yellow-brown.
The only specimen sighted
by Bolton (1973b) was that of Arnold (1924). In his translation, Arnold
did not mention the wings and did not mention seeing any specimens.
Bolton misquoted Arnold (1924: 753) who noted under race gallicola (now under Polyrhachis spinicola) was
found at Delagoa, Dr. Liengmei in hollow stem galls.
