Type location Ghana (Serrastruma miccata sp. n., Bolton, 1983: 348, illustrated, alitrunk and pedicel profile, worker), holotype worker only from Mampong by P.M. Room, 26.1.1970. Not identifiably recorded by Room (1971) .
