{Tetramorium candidum}The photomontage is of a worker from Tanzania, Igire Hill, Mkomazi Game Reserve; collector G McGavin.

Apart from the more prominent small propodeal teeth, this seems a close match to the Bolton (1980) description of candidum; in life the colour is more true to the "light brown" given by Bolton, belying the colour in the Antweb images. The type location is at the extreme east of the Congo Basin, nera the border with Rwanda.
