specimens
Previously (to September 2014) I felt that, whilst these
appeared to be
distinct to Camponotus galla,
and the minor (bottom) seemed close to orthodoxus,
it has to said the leg colouration suggests they may represent a
distinct species.
Now, however, I feel that they are rhamses, noting that the
type specimens (above) are difficult to see clearly because of the lack
of contrast and the usual Antweb magenta tint.
