Egypt record - in Finzi (1940: 160) as known from Egypt BUT this is not in Finzi, 1936; Finzi (1940) cites Santschi, 1937: 312; the latter, however, cited Finzi, 1936; thus this record seems to be a mistake for Crematogaster auberti nigripes. Sharaf list - Material examined: Kafr Hakim, 17.xii.1951 (1) (ASUC); Baharyia, 22.iii.1938, Efflatoun (1 ?) (CUC).
