MINOR WORKER DESCRIPTION: very distinctive colouration of bright orange alitrunk, gaster and legs, contrasting with the shiny almost black head; adundant rust erect hairs on whole of the body and appendages; legs, posterior femur 7.2 mm, and antennae exceptionally long, scapes surpass the occiput by more than twice times the distance to the occiput.

TL ca 16.5 mm, HW 2.8, HL 3.4, CI 82, SL 6.9, SI 246

Name chosen to designate the abundant erect hairs.
