Kusentzov specimens collected ii.1951, near El Suncho, Catamarca Province, at ca 1600-1700 m asl; soil nest at 20-30 mm below the surface with about 100 minute pale yellow monomorphic workers, two dealate queens and three "dinoergatinos".  He diagnosed the queens as identical to that of described by Santschi
