Subgenus Cladarogenys Brown (1976b: 33)

Tribe DACETINI. New genus raised by Brown (1976b), confirmed by Bolton (1983).

Diagnostic Features - separable from Epitritus by the antennal scape being linear, the clypeal margin not having spatulate or strap-like projecting hairs; and the head, which is longer than wide, having only simple hairs. Head and body with abundant simple hairs.

Presently known only from a single species - Pyramica (Cladarogenys) lasia.
