Genus Quadristruma Brown (1949b: 47) - placed in Strumigenys (Bolton, 2000: 950)

In Tribe DACETINI. Diagnostic Features - Antennae 4-segmented; antennal scrobes present. Mandibles elongate, linear and strongly curved; preapical armament a single, long spiniform tooth; apical armament a fork of two teeth. Head with orbicular hairs. Eyes very small.

Only two known species, one from New Guinea, and the tramp species Quadristruma emmae.
