Generally similar to cryptocera but smaller and more heavily
sculptured; form of sculpturation similar however and Bolton (1981a)
suggested that there might actually be only one species involved.
Other specimens seen by Bolton were from Gabon,
Plateau d'Ipassa; and Zaïre, Yangambi.
