Type location Cameroun (Smithistruma kerasma sp. n., Bolton, 1983: 303, illustrated, alitrunk and pedicel profile, worker), collected at Nko'emvon by D.A. Jackson, 16.iii.1980; holotype worker and 9 paratype workers .

WORKER - TL 2.5-2.6 mm; separable from mekaha by having angled not arched hairs on the head dorsum; colour dark brown.
