Forel's
(1874) description is from T. tuberum
as the base: Antennae 12-segmented; legs without hairs; clypeus
without a concave anterior margin, but usually with a smaller median
carina and two or several lateral striae. Race luteus defined
as lacking a metanotal groove; the apex of the antennal club and front
of the head reddish; alitrunk finely rugose; propodeal spines quite
wide at the base, length about 2/3 the basal face, slightly curved
apically; TL ca 2.5 mm.
