A History of the Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Nottingham

Introduction

Who built the great perpendicular Church of St. Mary's Nottingham and when?

Who contributed to its survival, restoration and further additions?

These are all questions which have remained poorly reported in the several Guides written from 1874 onwards. Here, an attempt is made to answer such enigmas and to give credit where it really is due.
